Technical specifications - envirovision images
Main library
The pictures loaded to the envirovision website are unsharpened, high quality, 300ppi JPEGs. As such they are in a format which is easy to store and download. The website images are generated from unsharpened and un-interpolated TIFF files with an Adobe RGB 1998 colour profile. File sizes are a minimum of 6MP, many being significantly larger at 12.7MP. The original (uploaded) dimensions of a specific image can be viewed in the lightbox image details panel. We can interpolate images in house should you require a larger picture file size.
If you require a TIFF, alternative file format, or a larger image please contact us with your requirements.
Please note, the actual image downloaded may vary from the uploaded specifications, depending on the size, purpose or licence selected and any maximum resolution restrictions on your account. The maximum size of each image selected is shown in your lightbox. Where this is marked ‘no limit’ you may download at the same size as the original, uploaded image.
Education and training-charities
We currently offer a selection of smaller pictures restricted to approved education and training providers only, in a separate library. These are sharpened SRGB files of a reduced size for use in presentations.
